Ala Vaikunthaputtamloo Review

Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is an entertaining film revolves around an interesting storyline of interchanging newborn babies by a middle-class father for his personal jealousy/gain so that his baby can live a royal life which he could never give him. The Screenplay of The film is flawed and predictable in many places but the film provides enough entertainment to hold your attention. The first half of the film is excellent with enough dose of humour and family drama while the second half explores the emotional side which is quite good.

The Romance between the two lead Character Bantu (played by Allu arjun) & Amulya (played by Pooj hedge) is Delightful but the set up for that is quite problematic & unconvincing in the start.

Background Music and Songs is the biggest strength of the film and despite not knowing the Telugu languages the songs appeared pretty much attractive to me and the choreographer has done some brilliant job with the dance movies especially in the song ‘Butta Bomma’. The stylish action sequences are another highlight of the film as they were really entertaining though far from being the realistic ones. The Brilliant Camera and Cinematography is another aspect which I liked in the film. Editing could have been better as the film has many scenes which look unnecessarily and forcefully merged with the narrative. The Villian track is another minus point of the film as it failed to make any impact.

Allu arjun has delivered an excellent performance. His Swag, Attitude and Style is the thing to look out in the movie Pooja hedge looks so sweet and adorable in the film and her expressions are on point though she hardly has few scenes to show her talent. Tabu looks effortlessly good as usual but same goes for her character which has been written very poorly. Murli sharma is brilliant in the role of Bantu's Father Vakmiki. Jayaram did good acting as Ramchandra. Rest of the cast has done their role fairly.
